The "out-of-the-box" infrastructure of the portal enables around the clock a fast lookup of the information provided by the manufacturer. No matter which 2D code (QR Code, Datamatrix, etc.) is marked by a manufacturer on his numerous products (e. g. with LaserTag, SmartTag or LabelTag) that information retrieval can be done with standard 2D code scanners such as a stand-/handheld scanners, tablet/smartphone, etc. The 2D code contains a globally unique identifier which manages all additional information centrally on the portal.
